I found this in the back of a drawer. A painting from the past– of the past. Don't know what year. A self-portrait of yearning for a different time and a different place; a different era. Parasols not PCs. I was dreaming back then; still am.
The friend I was with said "Listen." I said, "To what?" She said, "Nothing!" A quilt of green. That's what I remember when I was there many years ago. There were little white cottages, lambs and jaunting carts then; now I hear there are factories and cars. I hope not.
Everyday we encounter simple things, people, places that affect our lives from dawn to dusk. I capture them. The paintings offered here arematted but unframed [unless noted].
