From my exhibit "A la Carte Art: Food Paintings" by Johanna Bohoy FOOD is sharing: A gift from the Earth. Ruby red pockets of juice. Pick one. Eat two. One for me- None for you. All's fair with kids.

I am exhibiting my food paintings, the month of April In Manchester-by-the Sea, Ma. “We are what we eat,” wrote Anthelme Brillat-Savarin in 1826. "Dis-moi ce que tu manges, je te dirai ce que tu es." Our lives, family, friends, events, libations, and love are all intertwined with food. ~ My connection to food is enhanced by my work. I am a Dame in Les Dames d’Escoffier International, am active in the Masschusetts Specialty Food Association, am a designer of food packaging, and my husband Larry is my comsummate ‘chef.’
