Burning of the trees

Pastel 5x7,
NFS-original
SOLD-print-Massachusetts

On the beach.
Pile up the trees.
Waves lapping the shore.
Fireman guarding; kids laughing; hot chocolate pouring.
Dark is the sky.
Light the fire.
Poof.
Now a tree of orange, yellow
and white.
Hot Christmas tree lights!

Hi Johanna,

For as long as you placed this drawing on your blog I have it on my desktop, ... just lovely!

But after seeing it a bit longer I wanted to know if you have ever heard of lost and found edges? I think that the feet of the people where better to be lost, ... they would be at ground more. Some of them seems to float now.

But I leave it on my desktop, it's much to much fun to look at!

Thanks.

René,
Glad you enjoy it.

Actually, the people were kind of 'floating'. This was at the beach and they were standing in some water on the sand.
