Last night my neighbors house burned to the ground. Devastating.This brought memories of my teen years when our family house burned. Scarey.
Besides the people and pets, the only other thing that meant anything were the photo momentos.

This week my friend had a fire in her kitchen ( 200 years old wooden house so that could have ended horribly wrong had they arrived home 10 minutes later.)Things like that makes one think about what is important. This monday I bought a box, all my photos and important papers as well as my kids drawing - stuff like that, will go into it and be put in the small outer hall. In an emergency it will be only 2 m from the exit.
