I'm still searching for that oatmeal cookie I had at a diner with my father as a child. The only time I ever went to a diner with him. It was HUGE to my small eyes. It had a distinctive taste of spices, raisins and egg. I do a continual oatmeal cookie tasting every where I go but I haven't found it yet. Not yet. Here's to Marc who has his own 'Dad's Diner' at home creating memories for his son. Pastel, 5 x 7 $150. [SOLD Massachusetts]
I'll never forget a memorable moment in Boston when a friend from South Africa saw his very first snowfall. The sight of him jumping up and down with excitement, while yelling with delight in unintelligible Afrikaan, will stay with me forever. A snowflake– something I took so much for granted. Now, this snowball is for my little ones in Florida who have never seen snow.
Pastel, 5x7 [SOLD, orig-California, print-NH] print may be available The original Purple Heart, "the Badge of Military Merit," was established by George Washington in 1782. "Let it be known that he who wears the military order of the purple heart has given of his blood in the defense of his homeland and shall forever be revered by his fellow countrymen." This painting is a valentine to our veterans, current soldiers in Iraq, and, by coincidence, also honors Washington's birthday.
