The Past

I found this in the back of a drawer.
A painting from the past– of the past. Don't know what year.
A self-portrait of yearning for a different time and a different place; a different era. Parasols not PCs. I was dreaming back then; still am.

Black Swan/White Swan

Swan Lake.
Odette and Odile.Soft, delicate swan queen and her dark, enticing imposter vying for the prince.
Good vs. evil.

While I was painting this, Tchaikovsky's "Swan Lake" began playing on the radio. Eerie.

Travel Memories: Ireland

I said, "To what?"
She said, "Nothing!"

A quilt of green.

That's what I remember when I was there many years ago. There were little white cottages, lambs and jaunting carts then; now I hear there are factories and cars.
I hope not.
