Loving the independence and spirit of felines, "Papa" surrounded himself with them, plus the flowers, guava trees, and coconut palms as he wrote his manly tomes in his carriage studio. Today, protected by his will, about 60 roam his "museum", barefoot and polydactyl [extra toes], sporting names of Hollywood stars and celebrities, and sunning on the deco tiles. Oh, to be a cat.
